Nantes boss Claudio Ranieri has made it known that Manchester United top target Lucas Moura has rejected the offer of joining his side, but that the samba star is keen on moving to England whenever he leaves PSG.

The talented player has been heavily linked with a move away from PSG in recent times after emerging as a target for the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Nantes and some other clubs in China.

However, Manchester United are understood to be at the forefront of getting his signature as the player has reportedly agreed to move to Old Trafford.

Few days ago, Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte even claimed the player’s former club Sao Paulo are confident he is set for an obvious move to Manchester.

Moura has also been linked with Nantes, and the French club have even moved to get his signature. However, manager Claudio Ranieri has recently confirmed that the samba player is not interested in joining Nantes, but is determined to move to the premier league.

Lucas has mainly warmed the bench this season under manager Unai Emery following the arrival of the duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe during the past summer transfer window.

He however remains a superb player who will add quality to whichever club he will play for.
