London City side West Ham United are one of the clubs interested in taking Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on a short-term loan until the end of the season one his loan contract has been terminated at Spanish La Liga giants Valencia.

Batshuayi who is 25 had previously joined Valencia in the summer on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea but the two-time Champions League finalists have concluded plans to terminate his contract due to non-performance on the part of the Belgian international striker.

The 2018 World Cup quarterfinalist has scored just three goals in 20 games in all competitions, including a solitary goal in 13 league outings for Los Che.

His loan spell at Valencia is the direct opposite of the successful one that he enjoyed at German Bundesliga league leaders Borussia Dortmund during the second half of last season.

Many other clubs have already shown interest in signing him for the second half of this season and the former Marseille player would be hoping to replicate his Dortmund form wherever he ends up at the end of the upcoming January transfer window.

According to Sportslens, Michy Batshuayi could be an option to boost the West Ham United attack which has been decimated as a result of the hamstring injury to Marko Arnautovic.

Apart from West Ham United, Michy Batshuayi has been linked with other clubs like French giants AS Monaco and Italian Serie A side AS Roma.
