League leaders Manchester City brushed aside Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal team on Sunday with yet another good win at The Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal briefly seem threatening and did halve the deficit but Pep’s Manchester City were just too brilliant on the day.Goals from Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, Argentine Sergio Aguero and Brazilian Gabriel Jesus did the damage for the Etihad club.
City now tops the League by eight points and some football analysts are already awarding Pep’s team the Premier League title.
Despite the Weekends loss, there are some cheerful news for the Gunners today, even though most fans have reacted negatively to another away loss.
Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has been named PFA Premier League Fans’ Player for the month of October. The full-back starred in October for the Gunners at both ends of the field.
The Spain international was not only rock solid at the back, but he scored crucial goals for Wenger’s team against Everton and Brighton.
Other nominees were Nick Pope, Wilfried Zaha, Glenn Murray and Manchester City duo of Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane.
Arsenal star Nacho Monreal will likely be handed his prize ahead of the Gunners next match: The ‘Super’ North London derby against Tottenham Hotspurs.
