Gonçalo Guedes

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been handed a big boost in his pursuit of Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia star Goncalo Guedes if reports coming from Spanish media are anything to go by.

Efforts by the Portuguese manager to have the signature of the Valencia forward in the past have failed and this could just be the best opportunity for him to have his wish.

It is reported that Goncalo Guedes has fallen out with his Valencia boss Marcelino after an outburst between them and the player force his way out of the club.

Spanish TV station Movistar made public a clip of an heated talk between the manager and the star player during Saturday night’s match at Real Madrid.

Valencia had lost by 2-0 and that has drifted them backwards to 14th position in the La Liga league table.

The Valencia manager was seen looking furious and calling Goncalo Guedes to come towards his direction, stating that he has been away for 27 minutes and yet to return.

The development have reached its peak on the media with reports that Mourinho could make use of the opportunity to lure Goncalo Guedes away from the Spanish la Liga to the English Premier League so as to serve as the cover for Ander Herrera.
