Manchester United top target Antoine Griezmann has confessed that a move to the Old Trafford in the future is something that is possible.
The Atletico Madrid star player was heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford club during the summer transfer window, and there were reports that he himself was keen on moving to the premier league to play for Manchester United, after rating his chances of joining the red devils as a ‘six out of ten’.
He, however, opted to stay at the Spanish capital after a UEFA ban against Atletico prevented them from bringing a replacement in, as a show of loyalty to them.
But Man United are still interested in the player, and the 24-year-old has made it known there is a chance he will finally make the move to England.
In a new biography, the France international said he is happy at Atletico Madrid even though he is missing out on winning titles, but he won’t remain with the La Liga club forever but will leave one day.
He also explained that he has nothing personal against England – ‘except for the weather’ and that a move to Manchester United is ‘a possibility’.
Jose Mourinho landed Romelu Lukaku from Everton during the summer transfer window when it became glaring that Antoine won’t leave Atletico.
Although Lukaku has been impressive at the club, Jose still needs a creative midfielder in his team, and Griezmann is a good guy for the job.
