My greatest regret with Arsenal, Santi Cazorla

Former Arsenal star, Santi Cazorla has left the club for good but his connection with the Emirates Stadium will not deter him from talking about a place where he has got good memories.

Santi as he is often called left Arsenal to Villarreal after being sidelined for two years due to the injury he suffered.

The midfielder’s foot was almost amputated after he was said to have contracted an infection from one of a number of Achilles surgeries.

Its actually a positive news for Santi as he has now returned to active football in Spain.

But he will not stop talking about his time at Arsenal and the relationship he had with the Gunners supporters.

He appreciated the love he enjoyed from the fans, which according to him cannot be forgotten in any away.

However, he still has some regrets about the club which makes him sad at every remembrance of it.

He said the way he left the club without a deserving goodbye to the fans and also from the sad will always be regret for him.

With a new manager, Unai Emery and the circumstances at the club without coach Arsene Wenger would have been difficult to have a goodbye party for Santi.
