Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has spoken on his future at the Old Trafford amidst criticism that he has not been living up to expectation.

The Belgium international has been in poor form so far this season but he seems not to be bothered about the situation at the club.

According to the former Chelsea striker, he will remain at the club as long as manager Jose Mourinho is in charge because he has got a good relationship with the Portuguese boss.

He boasted of being one of Jose Mourinho’s favorite at the Old Trafford and will be ready to hand him all the support he needs.

Giving reasons for his stand on the manager, Lukaku stated the former Chelsea boss is an honest man and it takes honest people to be able to have a good relationship with him.

He stressed that public assessment of the United boss is negative and untrue, adding that the manager is being criticized unjustly because of the poor performance by his side.

The Red Devils were again held against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the weekend having returned from the international break.

However, the Red Devils are believed to be in the market for new additions at the club with former North London forward Alexis Sanchez already reported to be on his way out of the club.

United are having their worst start of the season in a long while as they are currently seventh in the Premier League game.
