According to media reports, Manchester United are interested in signing Sime Vrsaljko from Europa League champions Atletico Madrid this summer transfer window.

The Daily Mail is claiming that United are eyeing a transfer for the Croatian as they look to strengthen their options at right full-back ahead of next campaign.

The same article states that the 26-year-old is rated at about £30million as Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho finalises his wishlist of transfer targets for this season.

As per to the same report, the defender has been strongly linked with both Arsenal and Manchester City in the past, but the Red Devils are now leading the pursuit for his signature.

The same article says that the former Chelsea boss is keen to bring in some level of competition for Antonio Valencia at the right-back position this summer window.

Vrsaljko has provided four assists in 21 Spanish La Liga matches for Atletico this term and he helped them to defeat Marseille to win the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday.

United are likely to be in the transfer market for a number of recruits this summer window as they look to build a good squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
