United closing in on Liverpool target
Manchester United are reported to be closing in on defender Andrian Corral who is also wanted by English Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Reports coming from Spain claim that the Reds have shown interest in Andrian Corral who is currently with the Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal in addition to scouting him some months back.
The 16-year-old who is still with the youth team has told his owners that he would not be signing a professional contract with them as he wishes to find his way to the Old Trafford.
The Merseyside club have got a policy of signing Europe’s young best players and that is the reason why they have come forward for Andrian Corral who is also hoping to secure first team appearance anytime soon.
However, Andrian Corral has favoured a move to the Old Trafford knowing that he will stand a better chance of playing in the first team than in Liverpool.
This makes United favourites with the reports that Andrian Corral would switch immediately he marks his 17th birthday.
The Reds are serious-minded this term and have focused their attention on winning the Premier League this season, a feat that has not been achieved since the coming of German manager Jurgen Klopp.
