The weekend match in the EPL will be very interesting with two arch rivals, Man City and Liverpool going head to head.

A look at the EPL table shows the two sides have the same points and one of them will look forward to topping the table before the international holiday break sets in again.

Well, former England star, Michael Owen in a recent statement disclosed his prediction for the match.

According to Owen, who also happens to be a former Liverpool star disclosed that the Reds have a higher chance of winning the game going by past records.

He hinted that Liverpool have defeated Man City three times this year, twice in the Uefa Champions League and once in the EPL.

Owen added that the Reds have kept a clean sheet in their last 8 premier league home game and remain unbeaten in their last 24 home league games.

The former England star disclosed that the game will end with 3 goals to 1 in favour of Liverpool.

Well, Owen may be right to some extent especially with the fact that the Reds have defeated Man City on numerous occasions but he may have forgotten that Italian club, Napoli made a mess out of Liverpool on Wednesday night in the UCL with the Reds not having a single shot on target.
