Paris Saint Germain star player Lucas Moura has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times.
The Paris club are ready to allow him leave this month, and will conduct business with any club ready to pay €40M for his signature.
However, according to new reports, the Brazilian player is not happy with the club for placing such ‘high price-tag’ on him, and he has asked Unai Emery’s side to lower the asking price so he can complete his move to Manchester United.
The red devils are keen on a loan move for the talented player, but his side are determined to sell him.
Despite his recent challenges at PSG and his lack of playing time, various clubs are still interested in signing the samba player. But he has reportedly rejected offers from other clubs and is only interested in joining Manchester United.
After splashing hugely during the past summer transfer window to bring in the duo of Neymar and Mbappe, PSG are expected to raise up to €75m before the end of this term to avoid receiving a big slap from UEFA.
The Ligue 1 heavyweights believe they can easily reach the target if they sell Lucas for €40m, despite the fact that he has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the club.
The South American player is worried the price would hinder him from completing his dream move to Old Trafford, and he will hope PSG can get the fee lowered before the closure of the ongoing window.
