Liverpool Transfer: Club Chief Sends Transfer Message Across About £135m-rated Player

Liverpool fans are already dreaming of seeing Ousmane Dembele play at Anfield next season.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, but it appears this won’t come into reality.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has recently poured cold water on the speculation about the player’s future. He insisted the France international will remain at Camp Nou for the 2018/19 season.

There are claims Liverpool are so keen on signing Ousmane this summer and it was recently rumoured that manager Jurgen Klopp has held a meeting with the player’s mother in an attempt to bring him over to Anfield.

However, even if Jurgen is working hard to persuade Dembele to join his own side, club chief Bartomeu insists the player won’t leave Camp Nou anytime soon.

The Catalan giants paid some whopping £135.5million for the France international’s signature last summer following his impressive performances at Borussia Dortmund. However, he keeps struggling at Barca and has been in the center of different transfer speculations.

He was really disturbed by injuries last season and was only able to play 24 games for the La Liga champions – where he scored 9 times and provided four assists to his teammates.

This means, Jurgen Klopp will need to look elsewhere!
