Lyon star player Nabil Fekir has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after he emerged as a target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
And well, it appears the talented Frenchman will actually play at Anfield next summer, as he refused to rule out an imminent move away from the Ligue 1 recently.
Fekir found his way into Lyon’s first-team in 2013 and has evolved into one of the best players in the continent. Having scored 57 times in 153 games for the French club, the talented player has become an important member of the team.
He has however been linked with a move to Liverpool and is expected to join Jurgen Klopp at Anfield this summer.
There are speculations that the Merseyside club have sealed a £62million deal for the 24-year-old and that he has been granted a five-year deal at the club.
Lyon are playing their last game in the Ligue 1 this weekend against Nice, and when asked ahead of the game if the game could be his last for Lyon, he avoided giving a straight answer by saying he isn’t thinking about that ‘at all’
Lyon are on the verge of missing the ticket for next season’s Champions League, and Fekir will hope he can help put things right for his side.
