Manchester United star Victor Lindelof has reacted to suggestions that he has a rift with former manager Jose Mourinho before they parted ways last year December.

The Portuguese manager was sacked by the Old Trafford management for failing to deliver good results at the club as well as his rift with some players which sparked unrest in the dressing room.

In his reaction, Victor Lindelof stated that he had no grudge with the manager despite not finding enough playing time under his reigns as a result of his inconsistent performance.

Suggestions are that the former Red Devils boss was only getting at Victor Lindelof for always citing defensive lapse as the club’s major problem and insisting that other quality players should be brought in.

However, Victor Lindelof who was signed by the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss stated that he bears no grudge against his former boss as he expressed gratitude to him for impacting in his career and bringing him to the Old Trafford.

He noted that Jose Mourinho’s intention to bring in new defenders was not to cause any harm but to bring in competition which will help him develop.

Victor Lindelof, therefore, added that he is mentally strong to win against all distractions.
