Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, speaking about Liverpool‘s Mohamed Salah ahead of his next premier league game at Anfield on Saturday, said he is not surprised by the player’s superb performances this season, as he was always aware of Salah’s capacities while still at Chelsea.

The talented player joined Chelsea from Basel back in 2014 but was only able to play 13 times in the premier league before he was sold to Serie A side AS Roma.

Although the Egyptians forward couldn’t convince Jose Mourinho at Chelsea three years ago, however, he has proved his worth this season with his current premier league side Liverpool.

The 25-year-old was signed by Jurgen Klopp during the summer transfer window and has settled quickly to life at Anfield with six goals already in 11 games for his new side.

He helped Egypt qualify for the World Cup last weekend with his brace against Cape Verde, and he is ready to clash with Manchester United this Saturday at Anfield.
