Why these two players should be held responsible for Arsenal defeat

English Premier League outfit Arsenal could not stand again, against Manchester City in their Premier League clash on Sunday as they were humbled by 3-1away from home.

The North London outfit have now dropped to sixth place and have been overtaken by Manchester United who are now fifth in the Premier League table.

The contest for the fourth spot in this season for a Champions League qualification is now becoming tougher and a lot has been said from pundits and fans on Arsenal’s failure to stand to their responsibility.

A hat trick from Argentina international Sergio Aguero was enough to seal a win for City as they press further for the title challenge after being able to expose the Gunners defense.

Former Arsenal full-back Alex Scott thinks Nacho Monreal and Stephan Lichsteiner should be held responsible for the poor defending in the game.

According to him, they both exposed the defense and gave Aguero the free run to find his foot on the ball for goals each time he gets to be in the 18 box.

However, the Gunners boss has refused to let down his head after the defeat as he hopes his side will bounce back and challenge for the top four finish.
