England Midfielder declares love for Arsenal shies away from contract talk
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has spoken of his heartfelt love affair at Premier League giant Arsenal hours after a spirited performance for the North London club’s 4-2 victory over Belarusian side BATE Borisov.
The England international midfielder started his first European match for about three years and turned in a spirited first-half performance in particular that reminds every one of his potential and talent before a series of injury issues stopped his playing career virtually in its tracks.
After spending the last campaign on a season-long loan to AFC Bournemouth, the midfielder now has just about eight months remaining on his current Arsenal deal and time is running out for the England star to prove he still has a career at the Emirates Stadium.
Jack Wilshere said “Do I (Wilshere) see myself staying (at Arsenal)? Of course I (Wilshere).
“I (Wilshere) have always been at Arsenal, I (Wilshere) love this club.
He admitted the club have been good to him over the years and he has a great relationship with the manager. He said he has been featuring at the club since he was 17.
Jack Wilshere might likely find himself back on the substitute bench for the English Premier League match at home to new boys Brighton on Sunday as Arsene Wenger looks to rest those played during the week.
