Liverpool beat Chelsea to sign Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

The rumour about Liverpool FC reaching an agreement with AS Roma goalkeeper has been finally confirmed.

As latest report disclosed AS Roma and Brazil international, Alisson Becker is at Anfield and e has completed his medical fitness test.

This comes after the Italian club had reached an agreement with Liverpool.

The deal is said to have worth the sum of £66 million.

Klopp led Liverpool side can now be at rest as it goal post will now be managed by a better goalkeeper.

The arrival of Alisson means the Reds current goalkeeper, Karius might be relegated to the bench or asked to move to another club.

According to the terms of the deal, Alisson is expected to sign a six years deal with Liverpool.

On the other, fellow English club, Chelsea, which has been hoping to sign Alisson as a replacement for Madrid bound Thibaut Courtois will have to look elsewhere.

This means the Blues would hold on to Courtois for another 6 months when his contract is expected to be over.

As the Blues had stated it wouldn’t let him move to Madrid except a replacement is found.

The arrival of Alisson to Anfield is a big plus for Liverpool.
