Philipe Coutinho

It is glaring that Liverpool have been out of form and right now, there is a shadow of negativity surrounding Anfield. Latest results are not pleasant and the talks of a new deal with Coutinho are a good distraction for the Reds.

The Samba star signed for the Merseysiders from Inter Milan when Brendan Rodgers was still in charge of the club. Now, Coutinho is reaching his peak years and it will be fair to say that he is a world class playmaker.

The Brazilian international’s classic performances have attracted a lot of interest from top clubs, especially from La Liga Champions Barcelona. Therefore to prevent Barcelona from snatching him away, Liverpool are closing in on signing a huge new deal with him.

This season so far the 24-year-old attacker has started 13 league games and scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists.

The Mirror insisted that Coutinho will agree a new contract with the Anfield club that will make him earn around £200,000-a-week, £57.2million in the next five and a half years. It was additionally added that the deal will have no release clause.

Many Liverpool fans all over the world are already in love with him due to his value in the team. They only hope the Reds management won’t sell him as they did Luis Suarez back then when needed.
