After surprising the fans with the signing of Fabinho from Monaco on Monday, it appears Jurgen Klopp is not stopping anytime soon.
According to new reports, the Anfield club are trying to splash €169M to get the signatures of two players currently playing in France.
Liverpool finalised a deal for Brazilian midfielder Fabinho on Monday evening, with the talented player signing a long-term deal with Klopp’s side.
And according to new reports circulating in the French media, the Anfield club are not done with their raid on the Ligue 1.
L’Equipe made it known that Jurgen Klopp and his employers are still interested in signing the duo of Nabil Fekir and Thomas Lemar before next season comes.
The Lyon star has been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside this summer, with speculations that Liverpool will step up their £60m attempts to sign him.
Fekir was impressive for the French side this term and played a big role in helping them get a Champions League ticket for next season, against all odds.
Lemar, on the other hand, was heavily linked with Arsenal last summer. The London club tried all they could to get his signature, but Monaco held on to him.
The €100m-rated French star is now ready to leave the club this summer and has refused signing a new deal with Monaco.
