Breaking! Sarri to Chelsea is a done deal – ESPN

According to football pundit Paul Mariner, FA Cup winners Chelsea’s move to appoint Italian Maurizio Sarri as the club’s new boss is a “done deal”.

Antonio Conte could leave Chelsea

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea situation continues to be a major source of rumour, with the uncertainty surrounding the former Juventus manager’s future at Stamford Bridge having continued for a long time now.

Antonio Conte ended the campaign on a good note as he led the Blues to an Emirates FA Cup final win over Man United as they ended the season with a silverware.

Former Napoli manager Sarri has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent days as Chelsea consider a managerial switch ahead of next campaign, despite Antonio Conte having won two trophies in his first two campaigns at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri set to join Chelsea

Now, ESPN FC football pundit Mariner suggests that Sarri is poised to take over at the West London club ahead of next term.

Talking to ESPN FC, Mariner said Chelsea do still have a manager but that’s never a problem for them in the past.

The Blues won the English topflight League title in Antonio Conte’s first season at the West London side last term, but they struggled for consistency in the English Premier League this season.
