The big selection mistake Solskjaer must avoid now

Andreas Pereira

Since taking over the job at Manchester United, interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a number of decisions as regards to selection which he has always gotten away with.

One of it is his decision not to play a specific team stretch as he has and different and inconsistent line-ups and that seem not to be a problem at the moment.

However, the former United forward has continued to play Andreas Pereira ahead of Brazil international Fred and that has not gone well with football writer Vince Ralph who thinks it must stop immediately.

Fred joined the Red Devils last summer for a fee of about £47 million according to a BBC report and has only had few opportunities to show what he is made up, yet he is out of favour in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team.

Vince Ralph is of the opinion that aside hype, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba are the only players who should start ahead of Fred but not Andreas Pereira.

According to the football writer, the Brazilian international will better in terms of transition and ability but that has not been seen of Andreas Pereira which will definitely reduce the quality of the United team.
