Former Arsenal star named for West Brom job
Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has been named as a possible candidate for the job at West Brom as they are keen to land a new boss ahead of the coming season.
It is reported that West Brom are already preparing to approach the Arsenal legend but that will be done pending on the outcome of their talks with former Brighton manager Chris Hughton who has already been contacted.
Patrick Vieira has proven to be a big prospect in the managerial job, having succeeded as a manager with French side Nice and his former job at New York.
However, it is unclear if the former Arsenal midfielder will be willing to switch to the English Premier League should e be contacted owing to the relationship he has already built with Nice.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal manager Unai Emery has Arsene Wenger has tipped Patrick Vieira to become a future manager at the West London outfit, insisting that he has got the idea and already gaining the experience to do the job.
Howbeit, West Brom will hope to land Patrick Vieira owing to the fact that he has a good knowledge of the English Premier League as a player and that could be helpful in taking up his responsibilities.
