La Liga giants ready to sanction departure for £131m Chelsea target

According to latest transfer rumour from Don Balon, FC Barcelona are allegedly tempted to allow Ousmane Dembele leave just a season after joining the club.

Tough start at Camp Nou

The Frenchman only just joined the club from German side Borussia Dortmund last summer transfer window in a transfer report suggests cost them about £131million.

However, the France international has had a tough start to life at Nou Camp, due to injuries, and it looks like he could already be heading for the exit in a makeweight in any move for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.

Don Balon formerly linked him as a potential target for Premier League Champions Chelsea to replace Belgium international Eden Hazard, but Barcelona would rather use the forward to give themselves more of an opportunity of sign Griezmann.

Prolific Griezmann

Griezmann has shone like million stars for La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, showing himself to be one of Europe’s finest attackers on his day and earning links heavily with other top sides.

Recently, the Sun linked him with a move to rival side Manchester United, while another report suggests the Champions League holders could also be an option for the forward.
It would be a major shame to see a young talent like Dembele offloaded so quickly, but the way the modern game is, players have to hit the ground running almost immediately.
