Klopp Rally Liverpool Troops For Watford Clash
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a rallying cry to his players ahead of the crucial Premier League clash with in-form Watford on Wednesday night.
German tactician Klopp told the Liverpool website that they must take advantage of their current status on the league table in the race for the Premier League title.
Liverpool secured the top spot on the Premier League table after a goalless draw at the home of rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
The Manchester United result was enough to take Liverpool one point ahead of defending champions Manchester City at the Premier League summit.
Jurgen Klopp called on his players to move on from two successive goalless draws against Bayern Munich and Manchester United respectively by beating the Hornets in their Premier League clash later this week.
Klopp confessed that they have not had much time to prepare for the Watford game but he’s hoping that the Anfield crowd will be able to push them to victory against a Watford side proving to be the real deal in recent games.
Watford are the best of the rest (best team aside from the top six) in the seventh spot at the moment and they prepared for the Liverpool game with the 5-1 thumping of Cardiff City on Friday night.
