Former Liverpool man Kenny Dalglish has sent warnings to Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho ahead of the premier league clash between his former side and the Old Trafford club on Saturday at Anfield.
Dalglish believes his former club’s luck is bound to change soon, and is backing Liverpool to give Mourinho’s defence a tough time.
Kenny, who was both a former player and manager at Liverpool, is comparing the current situation in the premier league with what happened last season when Liverpool held United to a 0-0 draw despite that the red devils were with a stronger position at that time.
Man United have been impressive this season so far in the English top flight and have scored 21 superb goals in their opening seven games. They are yet to lose a single game currently and are sitting level on points with leaders City.
Jurgen Klopp’s side, on the other hand, have not been able to get a clean sheet since August and are now seven points behind Jose Mourinho’s side.
Despite fans supporting Man United to win the game, Liverpool legend Dalglish feels the Anfield club have gone through a lot this season, and their luck can simply change when they face Jose Mourinho’s side.
“It could be [Philippe] Coutinho who scores first…. I will go 2-1 for Liverpool…” he told Liverpool Echo.
