Reports emerging from France reveal that the English Premier League outfit Arsenal scouts are already on their way to the country to watch Ligue 1 outfit Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.

The Gunners have longed been linked with the star player but they are set to have a final assessment of him before preparing a bid before the end of this winter transfer window.

Ismaila Sarr has impressed so far this season for his French side having scored 8 goals in the 24 games under his belt.

Le10 Sport reports that the North London side are serious in their interest for the player and have already made it known to the French side as they are hopeful that a deal could be sealed before the end of January.

However, the move by the Gunners and the value of the player would be known after the reports by the scouts are being submitted.

Ismaila Sarr has been tipped to be a perfect fit for the Gunners and would be a good replacement for England international Danny Welbeck who is injured and out of the season.

Reports claim that the former Man United player will not return as a Gunner as he could be allowed to leave as a free player.
