Chelsea summer signing Tiemoue Bakayoko who is expected to replace injured Ngolo Kante has posted a picture from Chelsea’s training ground today ahead of their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace this weekend as reported by TheSportReview.
Frenchman Bakayoko will be hoping to be involved in the Palace match as Antonio Conte’s men return to Premier League action at Selhurst Park in search of three valuable points following a poor 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in their last match before the international break.
The French defensive midfielder who signed from French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco will be hoping to continue his brilliant start to the Premier League season against a poor Crystal Palace side.
The 23-year-old was signed for £40million ahead of the departure of Manchester United bound Nemanja Matic during the summer.
Bakayoko, who looked pleased to be back training at Chelsea’s Cobham facility ahead of the English Premier League’s return opened his Blues account with a bang in their landslide 6-0 victory against Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League last month.
The midfielder posted the picture above on his official Instagram story.
Having won the title twice in the past three years, the Blues are in fourth place in the English Premier League log and six points behind rivals Manchester City.
