Italian Serie A outfit Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly has expressed delight that he is being wanted by big clubs as Man United after learning of the interest in him.
The Red Devils have been following the star player for some months with former manager Jose Mourinho making moves by asking the club of Kalidou Koulibaly’s availability before he was sacked.
There is no doubt that the Red Devils have now admitted that the former manager was right on his cry for a solid defender which is the reason why they have placed that position as the top priority in the coming summer transfer window and have lined up Kalidou Koulibaly as a major target.
Kalidou Koulibaly, therefore, claims to be flattered by the interest from the English Premier League side as he claims that he is not aware of being the strongest defender and cannot say where his future lies.
He stated that he will only continue to improve and progress in his game at Napoli and leave his future opened.
However, it is understood that the Italian Serie A outfit are not willing to part ways with Kalidou Koulibaly but already have a £89 million asking price for the star player for any suitor who is interested.
