Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has called on his players to keep on fighting till the end of the season in the keenly contested race for the Premier League title.

The Reds are in a two-way fight for the Premier League (PL) title with defending champions Manchester City.

The Citizens won the Premier League title without much challenge last season but this season has been different in their quest to retain the title.

Liverpool have proven to be a serious challenger to their bid to win the Premier League title for the second successive season.

Manchester City had gone to the top of the table on Saturday afternoon in the wake of their 2-0 win at Fulham only for Klopp and Liverpool players to respond with a last-minute victory over Champions League chasers Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool defeated Spurs 2-1 at home to reclaim their place at the Premier League summit.

Roberto Firmino had given the Reds a first-half lead before Lucas Moura equalised for Spurs in the second half.

Liverpool struggled to create chances for a possible winning goal until the final minute of the game when Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris fumbled the ball into the net via defender Toby Alderweireld.

The Reds now have a two-point lead over Manchester City who have a game in hand.
