Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke won’t be joining Scottish Premier League giants Rangers on loan when the winter transfer window reopens in the New Year.
This is according to respected journalist Jim White who works with popular TV channel Sky Sports.
According to Jim White, a senior Liverpool official told him that Dominic Solanke won’t be joining Rangers.
The England junior international has been strongly linked with a move to Rangers with rumours claiming that he will join the Scottish club on a short-term loan.
Dominic Solanke has been on the fringes of the first team thus leading to transfer rumours about his long-term future with the Reds.
The 21-year-old has not played for Liverpool this season.
He scored once in 27 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions in the last campaign.
Dominic Solanke featured 21 times for the Reds in the Premier League last season.
Apart from Rangers, Solanke has been touted as a possible transfer target for clubs like Turkish giants Galatasaray as well as the English duo of West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
Widespread reports had claimed that Rangers were the front-runners for his signature mainly due to the influence of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard who’s now the manager at the Scottish Premier League giants.
