Mourinho defends Pogba after penalty miss

Manchester United finally return to winning ways with Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial finding the back of the net to record a 2-1 win over Everton.

It has been tough for the Jose Mourinho side who are winning their first game after the international break having recorded a defeat against Juventus in the Champions League and a draw against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Pogba had missed a penalty in the game which would have cost the team but he will not be held responsible as they can boast of a win at the moment.

However, manager Jose Mourinho defended the former Juventus player against any criticism by noting that he was courageous to go for the ball again after the first miss.

According to Mourinho, the World Cup winner remains a good penalty taker, noting that the goalkeeper is a very good penalty catcher.

, therefore,re hinted that he will have to work on the player in that regard but said he wants the same mentality to be maintained.

Meanwhile, the former Chelsea boss remains excited that his side need not struggle to win this time around as they pick up the 3 points by having the game under control.
