Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon could be the first Tottenham signing when the summer transfer window begins as the North London club have reached an agreement with the Championship side, according to Rosenior.
The pundit whose son currently plays for Brighton and Hove Albion this season revealed while speaking on a football show that Mauricio Pochetino’s side are ready to bring the England’s starlet to the White Hart lane stadium this summer so as to avoid losing him to other interested clubs who are keeping a close eye on his progress with the Cottagers.
The 17-year-old has been an excellent attack-minded player for his team throughout this season.
He has scored 14 goals in 41 matches in all competitions and his exploits hasn’t gone unnoticed by England’s U21 manager who has handed him his debut call-up to the national team.
He could make his first appearance for the young Lions on Tuesday when the team face Ukraine in a friendly game at the Bramall Lane stadium.
Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all been linked with a move for the youngster this summer but according to Rosenior, Spurs are leading the race for his signature after agreeing to pay the player’s price tag as soon as transfer window returns.
Rosenior further heaps praise on the player’s performance this season, claiming he has a lot of potentials to become a great player in the nearest future as long as he remains focus and hard working.
