Sky Sports are reporting now that Liverpool have rejected yet another bid from Catalan giants Barcelona for their star player Philippe Coutinho.
The player has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer after emerging as a target for the La Liga club.
Barca have sold Neymar to Paris Saint Germain for a world-record £200M and need a new superb replacement for the Brazilian.
Countiho, who has 27 international caps for his country, has been identified as a good replacement that can fill Neymar’s void and the Spanish heavyweights are keen on bringing him in before the end of the transfer window.
The 25-year-old arrived at Liverpool from Inter Milan in 2013 for a fee in the region of £8.5m and has grown into one of the best players in the English top flight.
Last season, in 36 appearances for Liverpool, the Samba midfielder scored 14 goals and provided 9 assists for his teammates as he helped Jurgen Klopp’s side finished fourth in the premier league table.
Barcelona have already seen two offers rejected by the Merseyside club with the second one understood to be in the region of £90M.
And now, it is being said that the Reds have instantly pushed away a third offer from the Spanish club which is believed to be close to £118m including add-ons
