A journalist known as Paulo Vinícius Coelho (PVC) is raising the hope of Arsenal fans by assuring them of the club’s move to land Bahia midfielder Ramires.

Ramirez is being linked to the Emirates Stadium alongside Atletico Madrid with both sides believed to be monitoring the player’s performances.

The journalist claims that other clubs in Brazil have requested for the availability of the player but Bahia refused with the intention of having him sold abroad.

According to reports, the North London side have watched ten of his games and are now convinced he will make a good player at the Emirates Stadium.

PVC on his social media confirmed, “it’s ‘likely’” that Ramirez will leave Brazil with Arsenal being the possible destination.

Ramirez could end up at Arsenal as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is bound to leave the club at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new deal at the club.

Arsenal are believed to be encouraged by the fact that the star midfielder would be affordable despite not having an idea of his price tag.

Howbeit, Manager Unai Emery has been told that the club will not be active in the January winter window because the board is not a believer of the period.
