Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hailed Brazil international winger Willian as an outstanding footballer to fuel rumour about the Red Devils making a move to sign the Chelsea star.
Jose Mourinho wants Willian at Old Trafford
The South American moved to Chelsea during Jose Mourinho’s second stint in charge of the Blues back in 2013.
The Brazilian has won two English Premier League titles and the Carabao Cup during his charge at the West London club but the exciting attacker has not been able to seal a regular shirt at the club under Antonio Conte.
Willian, 29, has netted six goals and has provided seven assists in 35 matches in the English Premier League this term.
The Red Devils have been constantly linked with a swoop to land Willian since Jose Mourinho took over at Old Trafford in 2016.
Jose fuel rumour
And the Manchester United manager has fuelled rumour that the Reds could make a bid for the Brazilian.
United brought in the Serbia international midfielder Nemanja Matic in a £40million deal from the Blues in the 2017 summer window.
They can finish the campaign with their third title since Jose Mourinho took charge if the Red Devils beat the Blues in the Emirates FA Cup final at later this month at Wembley.
