Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is positive of his team’s strength ahead of their all-important Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Red Devils are the underdogs ahead of the game with little chances given to them to defeat Liverpool who are yet to see any defeat this season in the Premier League.

United are 16 points behind the Reds who are top of the league table and have conceded a total of 26 goals in 16 games against Reds who are exceptional this season by conceding just six goals so far.

Speaking ahead of the game, Mourinho stated that his side can hand the Merseyside club their first Premier League defeat because his squad have got the quality and will move all out to secure a win in the game.

The former Chelsea boss stressed that his side have got the potential and will not be carried away by the odds against his team.

Meanwhile, the Reds’ boss lacks the confidence in his defenders having severally hinted that the department are largely responsible for his woes and he is seeking to have more additions.

However, the Portuguese boss has got the backing of the club to go all out for defenders in the winter transfer window
