Ever since Luis Suarez left Anfield to join Barcelona back in 2014, Liverpool are yet to have a superb striker who has scored more than 20 premier league goals in a season.
In his last term at Anfield, the Uruguay striker was able to score 31 whopping league goals for the Merseyside club.
However, Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah from Roma during the summer transfer window, and the Egyptian has been phenomenal at his new club.
He has already scored 12 league goals this term, but he is a playmaker and not a center forward.
There were recent reports that Daniel Sturridge could leave Anfield next year, and Klopp is ready to sign €60M-rated Aubameyang to replace him.
Brazilian star player Roberto Firmino is Liverpool’s current main center forward, but isn’t as good as Aubameyang – who has scored 17 times already this season in just 19 games.
If the Gabon international moved to Liverpool, he should be the main man in Klopp’s attack, while Roberto should take Sturridge’s place on the bench.
If Aubameyang should come over to Anfield, the club’s starting XI will look this way:
GK – Mignolet or Karius
DL – Moreno or Robertson
DC – Lovren
DC – Matip
DR – Gomez
DM – Henderson or Can
MC – Wijnaldum or Milner
MC – Countiho or Lallana
WL – Mane
WR – Salah
FC – Aubameyang or Firmino
