Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has broken his silence after the collapse of his move to rivals Manchester City.

The Chile international attacker was willing to join the Etihad team and had thought he had his wish on transfer deadline day as the Gunners closed in on replacement Thomas Lemar of AS Monaco.

But the France international decided to remain with the French Ligue 1 Champions, meaning the Chilean’s final £60 million transfer to rivals Manchester City collapsed.

Widespread reports ever since about his mindset, with suggestions that he is upset at being denied his transfer by Arsenal.

But the attacker has remained silent, until now.

The Arsenal star broke his silence yesterday Sunday when he posted several cryptic quotes on social media site – Instagram.

One of the posts read: “When the world reminds you of your defeats, remind (tell) them of your unforgettable victories.”

Another post read: “A winner is (just) a loser who tries(ed) more than once.”

The Chilean added: “What you do matters, but the reason you do (did) it matters much more.”

The last post read: “You will realize that what today seems (look) like a sacrifice, will end up being the greatest (biggest) achievement of your life.”
