Chelsea vs Cardiff City: Two options Sarri Maurizio must start upfront ahead Alvaro Morata
The Blues will be playing against Cardiff City tomorrow as the EPL return following the international holiday break.
Many pundits have predicted that the game will be Chelsea’s fifth win to further push them on top in the EPL table.
But coach Sarri is still worried about who to start up front as the main striker tomorrow.
Since the arrival of the ex Napoli boss at Chelsea, he has continually made use of Spain international, Alvaro Morata as the main striker leading the squad up front.
However, like last season, the Spain international has failed to perform except for his lone goal against Arsenal, he is yet to add another goal.
The duo of Eden Hazard and Pedro have covered for his lapses with the duo giving the Blues the much-desired goals.
We believe Sarri Maurizio has other options he can start in place of Alvaro Morata – and they include;
1. Olivier Giroud – Sarri is yet to give the France international a start this season with Giroud already feeling frustrated.
Like last season when Antonio Conte replaced Morata with Giroud, it may be high time for Sarri to follow that line.
2. Replicate the Napoli system at Stamford Bridge – Sarri also has the option of repeating the system at Napoli upfront, the trio of Jose Callejons, Dries Martens and Lorenzo Insigne.
Sarri might as well make use of the trio of Willian, Eden Hazard and Pedro up front.
