Former Arsenal superstar Robert Pires has asked the London club to sign Marouane Fellaini this summer for free.
The Belgian midfielder has refused to put pen on paper for a new deal with Manchester United and he’s set to dump the red devils this summer.
The tall midfielder joined the Old Trafford club in 2013 and was able to evolve into an influential member at the Theater of Dreams – though it wasn’t too easy for him.
He has played 156 games in a Man United shirt ever since he joined the club, and has become one of the most important members of Jose Mourinho’s team. Nevertheless, he is set to move this summer.
The 30-year-old has been linked with Arsenal in recent times, and club legend Robert Pires has urged the management to do all it takes to bring the player down to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Robert was recently asked if the Belgian would be a good signing for his former side, and the Frenchman replied in the affirmative, tagging Fellaini ‘a very good player’. He also believes it is ‘good news’ for Arsenal to sign the Belgium international.
So, over to Arsenal fans. Do you agree with Pires? Do you want to see Fellaini in Arsenal?
