Why Ozil’s criticism doesn’t bother me – Xhaka

Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka has maintained that he doesn’t care about the criticisms against his teammate, Mesut Ozil.

Giving reasons for his claim, stated the quality of the German international cannot be placed under any doubt.

Xhaka stressed that the former Real Madrid midfielder is the most incredible player he has ever played with in a team.

Describing Ozil’s style, he noted that the German started playing soccer in the street, hence, he has good use of the ball on his feet.

Ozil was on the scoresheet for the North London side in their 4-2 Europa League game.

The win gives Arsenal manager, Unai Emery his 32nd win in the Europa League, the most in the history of the competition.

Before now, the German has been criticized for his unconvincing performance at the club which attracted reports of his exit from the Emirates Stadium.

Ozil has begun answering his critics with his two goals in two consecutive games for Arsenal.

The highest paid player of the club will have to do more to justify the big financial commitment on him.

Arsenal are tasked with the responsibility of returning to Champions League football by either finishing in the top 3 of the English Premier League or winning the Europa League.
