With the transfer window closing on Thursday, it is yet to be known if Liverpool star player Philippe Coutinho will still make the move to Barcelona after emerging as a target for the Camp Nou club this summer.

However, while we look forward to Thursday midnight, there are reports coming from Spain that former Barcelona star player Neymar has warned Countiho against joining the Catalan giants.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar told his Brazilian teammate while training with the national side that he won’t regret the Reds decision to keep him away from the La Liga giants.

Neymar has recently left Barcelona for Paris Saint Germain in a world record transfer.

His countryman Coutinho has been heavily linked with a move to Barca for most of this summer, but the Reds have stood their ground and made it known that Phil won’t be sold irrespective of the huge bid being submitted for him.

The samba star made the move to Anfield in 2013 from Serie A side Inter Milan for a fee in the region of £8.5m and has grown into an influential figure at the club. He has made 181 appearances for Liverpool and has scored 42 goals with 37 assists for his teammates.

Jurgen Klopp’s side thrashed Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield on Sunday and currently sit second in the Premier League. They will be a major contender for the title should Countiho remain with them.
