Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio has confirmed that Manchester United are interested in signing Ivan Perisic.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to the Old Trafford since February after Jose Mourinho was spotted at Zagreb, Croatia during an international break, with reports that he went to discuss a summer deal for the winger which he debunked, claiming he was there for non-football reasons.
Recently, reports in various reliable news outlet have reported that United are keen on signing Perisic this summer and the player who is aware of the interest, wants to team up with Mourinho at the Old Trafford this summer.
Ausilio has now confirmed that United are interested in luring the Croatian winger this summer, he told Premium Sport: ‘[United] haven’t made us an official offer for Perisic but their interest is there,
‘We want to improve Inter and this is why we do not have any sellable or un-sellable players as of now.
‘We know that we already have many important players within our roster like Perisic and before we decide to sell him, we have to think about what’s best for Inter’.
It is understood that Jose Mourinho wants to bring Perisic to the Old Trafford as a better option to Anthony Martial who has failed to lit up his form since the Portuguese boss took over last summer.
