Deal Almost Agreed! Chelsea willing to offload Mourinho’s target for £50m-plus

According to reports, Chelsea and La Liga giants FC Barcelona remain in talks over the summer move of attacker Willian.

Chelsea turn down the offer
Sky Sports reports West London outfit have rejected an offer in excess of £50m from the Catalan side, but both teams are still in talks.

Last week, the Daily Mail claimed that the Brazil international winger’s agent had been in the Spanish City of Barcelona, although they also suggested the Blues had shown no intent to offload the 29-year-old wide man.

Now though it looks like Chelsea’s initial stance may have changed as they remain in touch with the Spanish giants over a possible move for the South American.

FC Barcelona are looking to bring in some depth to their team this summer transfer window and they are thought to want the World Cup star to link up with fellow national team colleague Philippe Coutinho who joined in January from Premier League side Liverpool.

Man United also keen on attacker
The Mail also claimed Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are keen on the player, who the Portuguese tactician tried to sign in the winter.

The Blues resisted despite manager Antonio Conte preferring to deploy the attacker sparingly, but as per local Manchester publication, the Manchester Evening News confirmed the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss is still interested in reuniting with the winger this summer.
