Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is very confident striker Robert Lewandowski won’t join Premier League side Chelsea or La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer window.
Prolific forward linked with exit
The Poland international striker has been heavily linked with a possible departure at the Allianz Arena this window following his constant struggles with the club board.
The 29-year-old has won four back to back Bundesliga crowns with the club since his much talked about a transfer from their bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund back in 2014.
However, the prolific striker is rumoured to be interested in a transfer to UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid, while former Premier League Champions Chelsea have also been strongly linked with the forward.
World class forward
The striker has become one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga following a brilliant goal return of 151 in 195 matches across all competitions.
The Blues need to strengthen their forward line under Italian boss Antonio Conte or his successor considering Spaniard Alvaro Morata’s struggles in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.
However, Bayern Munich chief executive Rummenigge has said that he can take a bet that the Polish will remain at the club.
Chelsea were 1-0 winners against rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final last month at Wembley Stadium.
