Liverpool in Shock Move for Karim Benzema

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly in a shock move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema who have been underperforming for the Los Blancos this season.

Despite having one of the deadliest attacking threat in the Premier League this term, the German tactician wants to add the Frenchman to his attacking line ahead of next season.

The Express report via Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, that the striker could be shown the exit door in the summer so as to create space for new strikers who could be joining the team.

PSG and Brazil superstar Neymar is believed to be among the strikers who could be heading to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.

It was reported last night via Don Balon that Poland international Robert Lewandowski has agreed to personal terms with the La Liga giants and he is set for a summer switch to Zidane’s team.

There are host of clubs showing interest in the Frenchman’s signature but the Express exclusively reports that the Merseyside club are leading the race.

There might be a swap deal between both clubs as Real Madrid are also willing to bring Mohammed Salah to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window having seen the Egyptian exploits for the Reds this season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are reportedly set to battle Arsenal for Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak in the summer as they hope to provide keen competition for Loris Karius in the upcoming season.
