Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that star player Hector Bellerin will be back and available for selection when Arsenal host Burnley in their Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
Due to injury, the Spanish full-back has been out of action in recent weeks. Now, he has returned to training ahead of Sunday’s clash with Burnley at The Emirates.
The Gunners boss also confirmed that the duo of Francis Coquelin and Kieran Gibbs have also shaken off minor problems and both will be available for Sunday’s game. It was also added that influential forward Olivier Giroud should also be ready for selection after he returned to training on Wednesday.
Nevertheless, Wenger also revealed that Theo Walcott remains sidelined and will not be ready for the game on Sunday.
Arsene Wenger speaking at his pre-match news conference on Thursday said the trio of Bellerin, Coquelin and Gibbs are back in the group but not Walcott
“These three [Bellerin, Coquelin and Gibbs] should be available for selection for Sunday. We have no injuries from last week. He [Giroud] is back in training since yesterday.”
Arsenal are currently third-placed in the English Premier League table after their 4-0 win over Swansea City in last weekend’s game, and are still eight points behind title leaders Chelsea.
