Manchester United are reportedly leading the race for Real Madrid star striker Gareth Bale having tabled a £70m contract offer for the Welshman so as to lure him to Old Trafford this summer.

But according to journalist Eduardo Inda, Chelsea are now ready to prevent Bale’s move to United as they are willing to make the same offer for the striker when the summer transfer window begins.

Antonio Conte is hoping to bolster his team’s quality at the final third of the pitch should he avoid being sacked by the Blues hierarchy by the ends of the campaign.

Ligue 1 former Champions Paris Saint-German are also considering making an outrageous bid for the striker so as to lure him to the Allianz Arena stadium despite United and Chelsea mouthwatering bid.

Unai Emery is currently in the market searching for a World-class striker who could fill the void that might be created this summer should Brazilian striker Neymar move to either Real Madrid or Manchester United as both teams are battling for the 26-year-old signature in the summer.
