According to various media sources, Man United hope to use forward Anthony Martial to land long-term target Willian this summer window.
Man United still keen on Chelsea man
The Red Devils are now willing to permit the France international forward to join Chelsea as part of a transfer deal to bring in Willian, as per reports in the local Manchester media outlets.
The Manchester Evening News, as cited by the Daily Star, is claiming that the former Premier League champions are set to use the out-of-favour Frenchman in a deal to land the Brazil international.
The 22-year-old has struggled for first team action in the Man United squad that cost the attacker his place in France’s FIFA World Cup place.
United desperate to sign Willian
The same report says that United are eager to bring in the South American from Stamford Bridge to further strengthen their attacking line on the flanks ahead of the new English Premier League term.
As per the same report, Man United consider the Frenchman’s resale value about £60million after the striker joined Manchester United from French side Monaco back in 2015.
The Chelsea winger was part of the Blues squad that won the English Premier League title and the Carabao Cup under manager Jose Mourinho at the West London club back in the 2015-16 campaign.
